Modifications

EML guarantees excellent handling and braking qualities. Also your safety concerning strength of front forks, wheels and suspensions is guaranteed. To achieve this EML always modifies the Motorcycles with complex motorcycle modifications. A summary description of the modification:

Motorcycle brand

R1100 (1150) R/RS/RT/ (GS on request)

  • Front fork with swing arm with a 165/65R14 tire mounted on an EML manufactured front wheel assembly
  • The sidecar is mounted on a stiff sub-frame, which replaces the existing stock tele-lever suspension system
  • A fabricated steel rear swing arm replaces the stock aluminum para-lever swing arm assembly, with a 165/70R14 tire mounted on an EML manufactured 14” wheel assembly
  • The R1100 / 1150 GS kit is available in variations. High enduro version or the lower street version.

R1100 (1150) GS ENDURO (Only available with E 2000)

  • Front fork with swing arm with a 165/70R14 M+S tire mounted on an EML manufactured front wheel assembly
  • The sidecar is mounted on a stiff sub-frame, which replaces the existing stock tele-lever suspension system
  • A fabricated steel rear swing arm replaces the stock aluminum para-lever swing arm assembly, with a 165/70R14 M+S tire mounted on a EML manufactured 14” rear wheel assembly

R1100S

  • Front wheel nave steering with a 165/65R14 tire mounted on an EML manufactured 14” front wheel assembly
  • A stiff sub-frame is mounted front below of the bike on which the sidecar and front swing arm is mounted.
  • This sub-frame replaces the stock tele-lever system Para-lever rear swing arm replaced by a stiff steel mono swing arm
  • A 175/60R14 tire mounted on an EML manufactured 14” rear wheel assembly The ABS will be immobilized.

K1100 RS/LT

  • Front fork with swing arm with a 165/65R14 tyre mounted on an EML manufactured 14” front wheel assembly.
  • The sidecar is mounted on a stiff sub-frame attached under the steering head.
  • A fabricated steel rear swing arm replaces the stock aluminum para-lever swing arm assembly, with a 165/70R14 tire mounted on an EML manufactured 14” rear wheel assembly.

K1200 RS

  • Front wheel nave steering with a 165/65R14 tire mounted on an EML manufactured 14” front wheel assembly
  • A stiff sub-frame is mounted front below of the bike on which the sidecar and front swing arm is mounted
  • Para-lever rear swing arm replaced by a stiff steel mono swing arm
  • A 185/55R14 tire mounted on an EML manufactured 14”rear wheel assembly
  • The ABS will be immobilized. (ABS 2 integral system remains in function)

K1200 LT

  • ExtensoDive front fork with a 165/65R14 tire mounted on an EML manufactured 14” front wheel assembly
  • A stiff sub-frame is mounted front below of the bike on which the sidecar and front fork is mounted
  • Para-lever rear swing arm replaced by a stiff steel mono swing arm
  • A 165/65R14 tire mounted on an EML manufactured 14” rear wheel assembly
  • The ABS will be immobilized. (ABS 2 integral system remains in function)

K1200 / 1300 R / S / GT

  • Adjustable front wheel nave steering with a 165/60R14 tire mounted on an EML manufactured 14” front wheel assembly
  • The sidecar is mounted on a stiff sub-frame, which is fitted on the front side of the engine.
  • A fabricated steel rear swing arm replaces the stock aluminum swing arm assembly. The paralever keeps working.
  • A 185/60R15 tire mounted on an EML manufactured 15” rear wheel assembly

R1200 GS

  • ExtensoDive front fork with a 165/65R14 tire mounted on an EML manufactured 14” front wheel assembly
  • A stiff sub-frame is mounted front below of the bike on which the sidecar is mounted
  • A fabricated steel rear swing arm replaces the stock aluminum swing arm assembly. The paralever keeps working.

  • A stiffer aluminum triple tree replaces the stock lower triple tree
  • A 165/70R14 tire mounted on an EML manufactured 14” rear wheel assembly
  • A GL1500 manufactured before 1991 needs a new type of wheel driver and transmission rubbers, these are not included in the kit
  • A GL1500 manufactured before 1998 needs a new set brake disc covers, these are not included in the kit.

GL1800 (Possible with and without ABS)

  • ExtensoDive front fork with a 165/65R14 tire mounted on an EML manufactured 14” front wheel assembly
  • A stiffer aluminum triple tree replaces the stock lower triple tree
  • The steering head is made longer and is reinforced
  • The Honda available brake disc covers can be mounted
  • The sidecar is mounted on a stiff sub-frame attached under the engine
  • 185/60R15 tire mounted on an EML manufactured 15” rear wheel assembly
  • A GL1800 without ABS needs an ABS ring (back wheel), this is not included in the kit

ST1100ST1100 (only without ABS-TCS)

  • Front fork with swing arm with a 165/65R14 tire mounted on an EML manufactured 14” front wheel assembly
  • The sidecar is mounted on a stiff sub-frame attached under the engine
  • A 165/70R14 tire mounted on an EML manufactured14” wheel assembly

STX1300

XJ900S DIVERSION

  • Front fork with swing arm with a 155/65R14 tire mounted on an EML manufactured 14” front wheel assembly
  • A 155/65R14 tire mounted on an EML manufactured 14” rear wheel assembly

FJR 1300
